Roskilde is one of the five largest European music festivals with 75,000 festival goers. Although it’s basically a music festival but it also include; events, exhibitions, arts, and performances. It is perhaps the coolest festival on the earth. It has credibility and history that no other festival in the world has. This year’s event was held from 1st June to 4th June and many foreigners took flights to Denmark to join it. Many bands and artists performed in this year’s Rosklide festival including; Gorillaz, Jack Johnson, Muse, Nephew, Prince, the Prodigy, Patti Smith and Band, and Them Crooked Vultures. It showcased 150 music acts performed at different stages.

Roskilde was started in 1971 by two people in Denmark as a non profit program to promote culture and humanity. With the passage of time it has got much popularity that not only European but also foreigners take cheap flights to Denmark with cheap flights to Denmark to join this mega music festival from different parts of the world. Rosklide is much more than music. It has earned much fame for featuring electronic acts from across Europe and stripped-down singer-songwriter performances in a tent for smaller crowds. This event is now run by Roskilde Foundation for development and support of music, culture, and humanism. This festival offers every thing from metal bands to Scandinavian punk to amuse both locals and Denmark flights takers. Every year thousands of people attend this event.
